Community Health

For more than 116 years, the employees and physicians on the medical staff of Mountainside Hospital have given back to make their communities a better place.

From sponsoring community health fairs, car seat safety checks to senior citizen events and a host of childbirth education classes, Mountainside Hospital is about neighbors caring for neighbors.

At Mountainside Hospital, we take patient care and community services beyond the operating room and into the classroom where patients, health care professionals and the community are invited to learn more about the health topics that interest them.

Learning opportunities are offered a variety of times each month and we are committed to being a leader in delivering continuing education to health care professionals, patients and families, and the community.

The community education classes are coordinated by a dedicated staff that is skilled in addressing your health, wellness, and personal growth topics across your lifetime whether your need is childbirth education today or you want to learn more about osteoporosis for a parent on down the road, we can help.
